Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: November 3, 2026

1. Individual engagement terms

HC Global Ventures LLC, a Colorado limited liability company, provides customized B2B technology and consulting services remotely to US and international business clients. Services are individually quoted, with fees, milestones, payment timing, cancellation rights, and any engagement-specific refund terms documented in service agreements and invoices. If this policy conflicts with a signed agreement, that agreement controls, subject to applicable law.

2. Cancellation before work begins

A client may request cancellation in writing before work begins. An advance payment for work not performed may be eligible for a refund after deducting amounts properly due under the agreement, such as authorized preparation, expressly agreed capacity-reservation fees, and approved non-cancellable third-party costs. Any deduction must have a contractual basis and comply with applicable law.

3. Cancellation after work begins

If an engagement is cancelled after work begins, the client remains responsible for services performed through the effective cancellation date, completed milestones, authorized expenses, and contractual commitments properly payable under the agreement. We will reconcile the work and costs against amounts already paid to determine whether a balance or refund is due.

4. Unused prepaid amounts

Unused prepaid fees may be refundable to the extent they exceed amounts properly due under the agreement. We review the engagement records and provide the basis for the calculation. There is no blanket rule that all payments are non-refundable.

5. Milestones and accepted deliverables

Fees for completed work and accepted milestones remain payable under the applicable agreement. If you believe a deliverable does not meet the agreed scope or acceptance criteria, contact us with the relevant details. Review, correction, re-performance, or any refund will be handled under the agreement and applicable law. Acceptance does not waive rights that cannot legally be waived.

6. Third-party charges

Licenses, subscriptions, hosting, transaction charges, travel, or other third-party expenses may be non-refundable when the third-party provider does not allow cancellation or refund. Such costs should be identified or approved as required by the engagement agreement.

7. How to submit a request

Send cancellation, refund, or billing-dispute requests in writing to [email protected], including the client name, engagement reference, reason for the request, and relevant invoice or payment reference. Do not send payment-card details. We will review the request against the agreement and project records and communicate the outcome and basis for any calculation.

8. Processing method and timing

Approved refunds will normally be returned through the original payment method where supported. If that is not possible, the parties will agree on an appropriate alternative. We will communicate the approved amount and expected processing timing. Applicable legal deadlines and any contractual time limits apply; the time for funds to appear may also depend on the bank or payment provider.

9. Mandatory rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived. Applicable law takes precedence over any conflicting contractual or policy provision. Contacting us does not restrict a client’s legal rights or applicable dispute deadlines.
